Project overview

Electrical and instrumentation works for phase 3 of the ZOHR development project in Port Said, from February 2024 to January 2026. The client was Eni / Petrobel, with Petrojet as main contractor.

The scope included special 33KV cable terminations and testing for the gas insulated switchgear (GIS), using plug-in socket type 3 Connex termination kits, along with electrical and instrumentation cable laying.

The team also carried out oil filling and filtration for the power transformers, removing moisture, gases and particles from the insulating oil to restore its dielectric strength, and supported E&I commissioning and operation of the facility.
